Brian Riegel, a seasoned farmer, reignited his interest in hemp with the 2018 Farm Bill, leading to the establishment of his extraction lab. Joining the Missouri Hemp Trade Association (MHTA) in 2020, he became a board member to support their initiatives for safe hemp cultivation. Brian’s achievements include founding South Point Hemp and launching UR Lit seltzer. He highlights the industry’s challenge in regulating hemp based on science and sees opportunities in the fiber and grain market. Brian envisions MHTA as key in building consumer trust, shaping policy, and connecting businesses with farmers, emphasizing ongoing efforts to educate lawmakers and reduce cannabis stigma.
I’m always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let’s connect.
